The Enactus NAIT team is once again recruiting for project management positions! This is an exciting opportunity for you to get involved with a group of passionate, hard-working individuals where you can learn and grow alongside other NAIT students. Whether you were part of the team last year or are looking to join for the first time, we encourage you to apply for any roles that you have an interest in!

You may apply for more than one position. If this is the case, please indicate your order of preference in your email submission.

If applying for Project Manager/Project Coordinator, please indicate whether you would like to apply for an existing Enactus NAIT project or if you are interested in starting your own project.

 

Once you submit your application, a response will be sent to select an interview time will be conducted virtually. There will be time for us to ask you a few questions, and we encourage you to come with any questions of your own as well. Please be prepared and on time.

Positions

Reports to: President

Qualifications:

  • A current NAIT student and Enactus NAIT member
  • Leadership experience is considered an asset
  • Project management experience is considered an asset
  • Has an understanding of what Enactus is

Skills:

  • Strong accountability skills, when managing both themselves and their team
  • Ability and willingness to rally people around them for a common cause
  • Quality communication skills
  • Proficient in setting goals and analyzing progress
  • Able to work both on their own and with a team

Responsibilities:

  • Representative of the project in external settings
  • Ensuring that sponsors/partners of the project are communicated to in an appropriate manner, as per Enactus standards, and seeking out new sponsors/partners as needed
  • Developing a strategic plan and ensuring that it is followed
  • Providing regular updates to the President regarding progress and setbacks
  • Creating a strong team culture and ensuring that team members have access to the resources they need to succeed
  • Works closely with the Project Coordinator to guarantee project success

Availability: Must attend monthly general meetings, weekly executive meetings, and weekly project meetings. Must be available on a weekly or biweekly basis to meet with the President. Some responsibilities are expected to be completed on your own time.

Total estimated minimum commitment of 8 hours per week.

Note: Responsibilities may vary based on the nature of the project. Current projects that are recruiting for this position include Aspire.

Reports to: Project Manager

Qualifications:

  • A current NAIT student and Enactus NAIT member
  • Has an understanding of what Enactus is

Skills:

  • Strong accountability skills, when managing both themselves and their team
  • Quality communication ability
  • Proficient in organization and task management
  • Able to work both on their own and with a team

Responsibilities:

  • Communicates regularly with team members to ensure progress and identify areas that may require extra attention
  • Ensuring that new team members are assigned a role and/or responsibilities and included on the project team’s Slack channel
  • Recording minutes at project meetings and identifying deliverables
  • Keeping track of expenditures/income and submitting related evidence to the VP Internal for reimbursement
  • Seeking out funding opportunities as required
  • Working closely with the Project Manager to guarantee project success

Availability: Must attend monthly general meetings and weekly project team meetings. Must be available to meet regularly with Project Manager and/or President. Some responsibilities are expected to be completed on your own time.

Total estimated minimum commitment of 6 hours per week.

Note: Responsibilities may vary based on the nature of the project. Current projects that are recruiting for this position include Aspire and HARMONY.

Reports to: VP Marketing

Qualifications:

  • A current NAIT student and Enactus NAIT member
  • Has an understanding of what Enactus is
  • Graphic design experience is considered an asset

Skills:

  • Basic understanding of the execution of graphic design
  • Computer literacy in Google and Microsoft programs
  • Experience with Adobe programs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Creation of content to promote Enactus NAIT
  • Completing work in a timely manner
  • Working alongside the marketing team in order to come up with ideas for new content
  • Ensuring that all logos adhere to guidelines and are utilized appropriately

Availability: Must attend monthly general meetings and marketing meetings. Some responsibilities are expected to be completed in your own time. 

Total estimated minimum commitment of 5 hours per week.
