The Enactus NAIT team is recruiting! This is an exciting opportunity for you to get involved with a group of passionate, hard-working individuals where you can learn and grow alongside other NAIT students. Whether you were part of the team last year or are looking to join for the first time, we encourage you to apply for any roles that you have an interest in!

If applying for Project Manager/Project Coordinator, please indicate whether you would like to apply for an existing Enactus NAIT project or if you are interested in starting your own project.

Job Summary: Provide support to current projects. Aid in overall club growth and development. Attend monthly meetings. Gain valuable skills and increase employability. Meet like-minded people & have a great time!

Reports to: President, Enactus Canada and NAIT

Job Summary: The new Co-President will train under the current President for two terms, and then run independently from then on. The President oversees the day-to-day of the Enactus team. Focusing on the development of the team by holding all members accountable to our Enactus team code of conduct. This is a non-paid position.

Qualifications: 

  • Current NAIT student
  • Must be enrolled in a degree (4-year) program, cannot be graduating before May 2026
  • Previous management experience will be considered an asset

Responsibilities and Duties (not exhaustive):

  • Prep and attend general, executive, and project manager meetings
  • Collect and input team volunteer hours monthly
  • Reserve meeting rooms as needed (creating NAITSA event or email Mawji Center)
  • Aid in efforts to grow and develop the club as a whole
  • Organize team building and retreat planning
  • Maintain website/social media/event calendar when needed
  • Create/develop executive positions as needed, interview & hire candidates
  • Meet month with Enactus Canada rep
  • Apply for grants and aid in sponsorship dealings
  • Set/confirm all budgets & club spending
  • Extensive competition prep & logistics planning
  • General reporting & updating to Enactus Canada as needed

Availability: Must be available to meet weekly with the executive team, monthly with the whole team, weekly with individuals as needed, project managers monthly, and other meetings as needed. Must be available to spend at minimum 10 hours per week on this role. *NOTE Additional hours will be required should you want to participate in projects. This role requires additional NAITSA training and meeting attendance. No other roles can be held. This role has a minimum of a 2-year commitment.

Reports to: President 

Job Summary: Actively plan and participate in recruiting efforts. This includes emailing different department heads and instructors throughout NAIT, giving in-person class presentations across the campus, and planning/attending recruitment events such as the NAITSA Club Showcase This is a non-paid position.

  • Give presentations to various classes to encourage club enrollment
  • Plan and attend events like the NAITSA Club Showcase
  • Plan and attend additional recruitment events
  • Attend other NAIT/external network events
  • Engage and recruit more students across NAIT

Availability: Must be available to meet weekly with the executive team. Must be available to spend at minimum 5 hours per week on this role. *NOTE Additional hours will be required should you want to participate in projects. This role has a minimum of a 4-month commitment.

Reports to: President 

Job Summary: Engage and update the Enactus NAIT Alumni group. This includes keeping them informed, providing ways they can help, and including them in events when possible. This is a non-paid position.

  • Update Ookslife database to reflect the current alumni situation
  • Develop & and maintain alumni relations

Availability: Must be available to meet weekly with the executive team. Must be available to spend at minimum 4 hours per week on this role. *NOTE Additional hours will be required should you want to participate in projects. This role has a minimum of a 4-month commitment.

Reports to: President 

Job Summary: The VP Operations oversees the day to day of the Enactus team. Focusing on the development of the team by holding all members accountable to our Enactus team code of conduct. The Interim VP Internal directly aids the club President in operational tasks. This is a non-paid position.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Aid in recording all general and executive meeting minutes (when VP HR is not in attendance)
  • Collect all team meeting minutes monthly from the appointed team leaders
  • Reserve all meeting rooms (this includes project meetings, executive meetings, and general meetings)
  • Aid in efforts to grow and develop the club as a whole
  • Organize team building and retreat planning (alongside the Marketing Director)
  • Ensure the club calendar is updated (alongside the Marketing Director)
  • Work with VP of Finance to determine possible grant or sponsorship opportunities
  • Assist the club President as needed

Availability: Must be available to meet weekly with the executive team. Must be available to spend at minimum 5 hours per week on this role. *NOTE Additional hours will be required should you want to participate in projects. This role requires additional NAITSA training and meeting attendance. This role has a minimum of a 1-year commitment.

Reports to: VP HR

Job Summary: As the HR Coordinator you will assist and report to the VP of HR. Primary tasks include the onboarding of new members and assisting in documentation/record-taking. This is a non-paid position.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Conducting one-on-one interviews with new members and assisting them with the application process
  • Ensuring that new members have been invited to the team’s communication channels and that they are taught how to utilize them
  • Keeping track of general membership and checking in with members to identify what they need to succeed in their respective roles
  • Leading a team to assist with recruitment, onboarding, and team activities as deemed necessary
  • Communicating with prospective members
  • Documentation
  • Maintaining alumni network
  • Taking minutes and attendance during meetings
  • Assisting the VP of HR as needed

Availability: Must be available to meet weekly with your team. Must be available to spend at minimum 3 hours per week on this role. *NOTE additional hours will be required should you want to participate in projects *NOTE during competition/events season there will be an increase in hours. This role has a minimum of a 4-month commitment.

Reports to: Project Manager

Qualifications:

  • A current NAIT student and Enactus NAIT member
  • Has an understanding of what Enactus is

Skills:

  • Strong accountability skills, when managing both themselves and their team
  • Quality communication ability
  • Proficient in organization and task management
  • Able to work both on their own and with a team

Responsibilities:

  • Communicates regularly with team members to ensure progress and identify areas that may require extra attention
  • Ensuring that new team members are assigned a role and/or responsibilities and included on the project team’s Slack channel
  • Recording minutes at project meetings and identifying deliverables
  • Keeping track of expenditures/income and submitting related evidence to the VP Internal for reimbursement
  • Seeking out funding opportunities as required
  • Working closely with the Project Manager to guarantee project success

Availability: Must attend monthly general meetings and weekly project team meetings. Must be available to meet regularly with Project Manager and/or President. Some responsibilities are expected to be completed on your own time.

Total estimated minimum commitment of 6 hours per week.
